But our story didn’t begin with opening a spa. It began with a mother’s love.
Owner LeShawn Mackenzie was inspired to create Heat and Wellness Spa through her personal journey as the mother of her only son, who was diagnosed with autism. Like many parents, she searched tirelessly for ways to help him navigate daily challenges, improve his quality of life, and rediscover his confidence and independence.
Along the way, she learned that many health challenges extend beyond what people can see. Conditions such as autism, ADD, ADHD, chronic stress, sickle cell disease, and other neurological or physical concerns often affect not only the individual but the entire family.
Instead of accepting limitations, LeShawn chose to search for solutions.
That journey led her to discover innovative wellness therapies that helped support recovery, relaxation, circulation, brain wellness, and overall quality of life. What started as a mission to help her son soon became a calling to help others.
Today, her passion extends far beyond her own family.
